The members of the Clover Creek Restoration Alliance made a list of their 2025 accomplishments during their November board meeting. It was an exciting board meeting where people reflected on how much the organization had accomplished together.
- We held work parties across the watershed in DuPont, Springbrook, Parkland and Chambers Creek.
- We organized opposition to the CalPortland Mine expansion, by inviting over 800 people to write in opposing the mine.
- We organized several community meetings and guided walks, and took part in, and:
- Tabling at the first Watershed Festival and the Lakewood Farmers Market, and;
The first Watershed Festival was a success as many people came together in support, education and love for our waterways. Our first ever festival was held in partnership with the Chambers-Clover Watershed Council. It drew many attendees and a dozen community organizations.

As we enter this next chapter together, let’s take the time to recommit to what it means to save our watershed and behave as stewards to our land. This work is more important than ever as we enter our third year of drought and continue the fight to protect our waters and wildlife.
Now is the time to accelerate our efforts in any way we can, whether that means talking to your neighbors about our mission, getting involved as a volunteer or pledging a donation.
We are a stronger force together.
